Programme Intended Learning Outcome

Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to:

  • Explain knowledge of the core concepts, central ideas, and key theoretical frameworks of cultural studies;
  • Interpret and explain space, social practices, and identity from the perspective of culture;
  • Relate to and communicate effectively with people from culturally diverse backgrounds;
  • Examine and interpret cultural texts and products in relation to their cultural contexts;
  • Explore problems, gather information, carry out basic research, and propose solutions to address problems responsibly both individually and as part of a team;
  • Relate major ideas in arts and humanities, science and technology, and society and organizations to cultural studies.
